The Kraljevica Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Dog Unit Dog Training Club, invites you to the now traditional fifth Bark & Hike walk for dogs and their owners along the hiking trails of Kraljevica – BARK&HIKE: along the paths of our nonas!
This time, the route goes in the opposite direction – starting from the Nova Kraljevica Castle, you will climb toward the Šmrika Bridge, continue to Križišće, and then descend toward Bakarac, where your four-legged companions will have the chance for a short “doggy” swim. The return route leads past the tuna towers and Carovo Bay back to the starting point.

Duration: approximately 4 hours
Trail: easy, undemanding, and suitable for all ages and dog breeds
Participation fee: free of charge
Dogs must remain on a leash throughout the entire tour. Comfortable clothing, appropriate footwear, and refreshments are also recommended.

You can receive the journal with a donation of €25.00, and at every hike you join, you’ll receive a stamp as a keepsake of the completed tour. For the 4th, 8th, and 12th completed hike, Dog Unit has prepared small rewards for you or your dog. The journal is simply an optional extra for those who want to collect memories while supporting the work of Dog Unit.

We also invite all participants, after the program, to visit the Frankopan Castle facilities (the Kraljevica Visitor and Interpretation Center, Multimedia Hall, Small Museum of Fishing and Shipbuilding Kraljevica, and the exhibition space of the 3RD-SPACE.EU/rope project), which are open during the preseason on weekends and public holidays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with free admission.
In case of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, Dog Unit reserves the right to change the route or cancel the excursion.
