Although no official archaeological excavations have been carried out in Gradac itself, examinations of the surrounding areas, such as Cave Šmrika and others, where artefacts from the Bronze Age have been discovered, categorize Gradac within the corresponding era.

Today, Gradac is a modest location with intriguing ruins of ancient structures and the remnants o fan ancient fortress system, nestled in the hills behind Kraljevica.
