The City of Kraljevica and the Kraljevica Tourist Board have prepared a rich and diverse program for this year’s Mikuljna, the main festive event of the season dedicated to our patron saint, St. Nicholas.
This year, Mikuljna brings a series of activities and events for all generations, creating a unique holiday atmosphere!
What awaits you?
The program begins on Friday, November 28, with a dose of fun and laughter at the popular stand-up show “To je ta šema” by Josip Škiljo from the Splicka scena*.
We also highlight creative workshops for children. The youngest can take part in a plush toy–making workshop** and the culinary workshop “Let’s Cook History Together” (a closed event organized in cooperation with CTR The Routes of the Frankopans and Kraljevica Elementary School). The program will also include sports competitions such as the “St. Nicholas” basketball tournament, a chess tournament, and the Kvarner winter league for recreational athletes, while a football tournament will be organized for the youngest sports enthusiasts.
The traditional 27th maritime pilgrimage will take place on Sunday, November 30, accompanied by a ceremonial procession and mass.
There will also be daily festive programs where the kindergarten and elementary school will present special performances, and gifts will be distributed during meet-and-greet moments with St. Nicholas. Musical performances and concerts will further enrich the Advent atmosphere.
We especially highlight the promotion of the book “Kraljevica mjesto nadahnuća” (Kraljevica – A Place of Inspiration) and the Christmas edition of the painting workshop with wine, “Wine & Art Frankopan – Xmas Edition”.
