This year’s Kraljevica Cultural Summer was officially opened with the concert “Za dušu z dušon” by Mirjana Bobuš, marking her long-awaited return to her hometown audience after twenty years. Through an emotional performance filled with music, cherished memories, and the Chakavian dialect, Mirjana Bobuš once again demonstrated her deep connection to her birthplace.
Joining Mirjana Bobuš on stage were the members of the Lanterna Cultural and Artistic Society (KUD Lanterna), for whom she wrote their very first original song, as well as Papići z Bakarca, whose musical performance further enriched the programme and contributed to the festive atmosphere of the opening ceremony.
A large audience enjoyed the concert, which concluded with prolonged and thunderous applause, beautifully marking the beginning of another Kraljevica Summer of Culture – an event that will once again bring a rich programme of music, theatre, and various cultural events throughout the season.
