From 24 July to 31 December 2025, Frankopan Castle in Kraljevica becomes a site of exchange and intercultural reflection. As part of the European project 3RD-SPC./RP – Δ (Delta), symbolically titled after the Greek letter representing transformation and dynamic states, the new interdisciplinary exhibition “A Tipping Point” will open on 24 July at 8:00 PM.

In a year marked by escalating social and political tensions, the exhibition brings together international and local artists whose site-specific works investigate questions of power, identity, collective memory, and cultural symbolism in contemporary Europe.

The works – spanning the castle’s interior and exterior – include: a large-scale geometric floor painting inspired by the Croatian chequerboard emblem (Franko / Slawinski), typographic sculptures and video projections (Breuer), a dialogical tap performance accompanied by a bilingual reading of Thomas Mann’s novella Mario and the Magician (Plovanić / 3RD-SPC./RP), and a performative chess match featuring real-time AI visualisations projected onto the castle façade (Bödeker / Ivančić).
