We are proud to announce that we have submitted three valuable projects for the “Suncokret ruralnoga turizma – The Sunflower Award”.

This is a unique competition dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of rural tourism. In 2025, the Croatian Association for Tourism and Rural Development “The Village Membership Club” is organizing the award for the thirteenth consecutive year, bringing together individuals and organizations that contribute to the development of rural areas, the preservation of tradition and cultural heritage, ecological production, and the promotion of authentic local products.

Our entries include the Nova Kraljevica Castle in the category Active Tourist Content in Rural Areas, the “Tira, tira” event in the category Traditional Rural Gastronomy, and the Donkey Farm OPG “SUZI” (Susanne Lucić) in the category Tourist Family Farms.

Through these entries, we wish to highlight the unique features of Kraljevica, its rich cultural and natural heritage, commitment to sustainable development, and innovative approaches to promoting rural tourism.
